I work in the tire industry and it is totally standard for trucks to not have a full size. It use to be everything matched. Anymore though, it's not a matching size and most of the time even matching tire brand/model. My 2014 Express that I had, more-or-less had a doughnut. It was narrow but the same height as the factory 20's the truck came with.
Usually, when they are different, they fall under 3% different in rolling diameter. Under 3% and your good. Again, it's a spare tire for a reason though.
