Bilstein question...?

Im considering purchasing the bilstein 5100's and setting them at the 2.8 setting (today actually). The question is, I do tow some: 19' cc boat, trailer with 4wheeler...would it be an idea to get the adjustable shocks for the front and buy the heavy duty for the rear? Im thinking that would put me level, which is what Im going for. Eventually Id like to get 33" m/t's or something other than those stock tires & wheels. To run 35's Im thinking a lot more lift/altercations will have to be done in the sense of a 4-6" lift for them to fit.
Anyone done the adjustables up front and heavy duties in the rear? Thanks in advance

HD's or regular 5100's will be fine in the rear. I would only set the fronts at 2.1 though because the rear is going to sag with the trailer hooked up. The 2.1 setting will also put less stress on your CV joints.

What if I spaced the rear? I dont haul all the time, but when I do I drink dos equis. Just joking. Anyways, Hemi450 you have all the products I need, right?

I'd go with air bags in the rear if you tow a lot. You can find them for under $100 and can keep your truck level whether you're hauling a trailer or just a light load in the bed.

I have a 3" rake. Thinking of going with Bilstein over level. I tow my boat in the summer. Would 1.25 BL and Bilstein set at 2.1" allow 35 inch tire? I like a lil rake. Or should I set at 2.8" with 1.25 BL and .75" rear spacer?

Any feedback would be nice.

I just put 5100's all around on my Gen3 5.7 QC, with adjustables in the front. I chose the 1.75" (or close) ring location. It puts me just below level with no load or trailer. At first glance the truck looks perfectly level.

x2 my truck sags hella bed with a 1.75" rear spacer and sportsman in the back, airbags are in the shed waiting for the snow to melt

How do these work? Might sound stupid I know but do these have valves on them like tires and you can put air in them or do you have to have a air compressor somewhere?

There are valves included and it pumps up similarly to pumping tires.....OR, you can add a compressor. Just depends on how much you want to spend.
I can certainly quote you on the compressor as well.
But many just grab the kit.

If you max them and run a 1/4" spacer you can fit a 35"
It will be stuffed in there

ya i have mine set at max and i have 33 x 12.5 toyo mts with a spacer and i think it leaves a perfect about of space in the wheel well but ya 35's will prolly fit too just not sure if it can be as wide.

Just installed mine tonight. Set Em at 2.8" ad removed my 2" HBS kit. Never again will I do this alone, and with out an impact or better spring compressors. Took 5 hours, and I'm beat. Truck looks good and my angles aren't bad at all. Needs alignment for sure now.

They can if you go through ass pain of removing lowering the snap ring and reinstalling lol.

sounds like a blast...no, i was just wanting to get an inch, maybe 1.5 just to bring the front up some and not have to worry about the cv angles.
