I put Bilstein 5100 adjustable leveling struts on my 2010 Ram 1500, after which the truck still had rake. Anyone else have this problem ? Or know what's wrong?

Probably nothing wrong. How much did the struts raise the front?

The 5100s have 4 settings to adjust the ride height. Which setting did you use?

If I remember right, the lowest setting matches the stock ride height. The next setting up is about 1", the third setting is 2.1" and the highest is 2.8".

I set my Bilsteins to 2.1" and it was a little nose high. I added a 1" Daystar spacer to the rear.

If you did the job yourself, perhaps you didn't understand the instructions and used the wrong setting?

If you had someone do the job for you, they either botched the job or misunderstood what you wanted.

Not sure had it done at a tire shop. They didn't tell me the difference in height after installation . I also had bilsteins put on all the way around with new 33 in tires, and the rake looks exactly the same. In fact it actually looks like the back got higher and the front stayed the same.

Ok. It sounds like the tire shop probably didn't understand what the Bilsteins were supposed to do, how they work, and what you wanted.

They probably left the adjuster circlip at the stock setting.

Crawl under and look. Which groove is the clip in.

This is an example of what you'll see with them set at 2.8". The clip is in the highest groove. You can see the grooves just below the spring.

When looking at the strut, I see three grooves and it looks like the clip is in the 3rd one

Well, that stinks that your having problems.

I have an 11. Bilstein 5100 @ 2nd highest groove. The rear of the truck is just a little higher than the front, unladen. The front of mine is definitely higher than stock.

Dotes, can you take a pic of your front shock?

I had mine set at 2.1" and it put me nose high. I did 1.5" spacers in the rear and now it sits perfectly level. Definitely sounds like they set them at stock height in your truck.
