Well after dumping a bottle into my wifes 6.4 Challenger and running it for about 1,200 miles, plus she's beat on it at the dragstrip with over 20 passes, since i added it.i have to admit, the car seems to like it when mixed with the 0W-40 PUP that the dealer put in it on it's first oil change at 800 miles.Car has noticably less valve train noise at start-up and while idling hot.
Damn you Burla, you're always talking me into these things, lol.i've been running Redline in my last 2 trucks since you convinced me years ago to try it,lol. Thanks Mike i owe you again.
And thanks go out to Terry for finding it in Canada at a relatively affordable price.

LOL, you sound surprised brother. How you got that up in Canada must be some story.

Just make sure you keep your story telling on ram forum, if you try discussing this on an "oil guy" site they will call you fake news. Ram Forum, where guys with the quiet hemi's hang out.

I usually stay off the "oil guy" site, lol. Terry aka Buddy Guy is the one who found it and brought a few bottles of it in,so i owe him for getting myself and Grizzstang a couple bottles each of it.I don't know where he found it as cheap as he did,but i hope he can find more of it that cheap,as now i think i want a few more bottles of it,lol.
I quit being surprised at what you find out and usually figure you're onto to something, that's worth while trying out,lol

All I know is the outfit on Amazon that sells it is excellent. I had bought 3 bottles a few weeks back and one or more of them had leaked a bit into the bag and box they were shipped in. I emailed them and sent them a pic. They immediately wrote back on how to make it right. I asked to be reimbursed or sent one new bottle to make up for the fluid that was lost. They overnighted me a bottle.

My plan with my 2019 Ram 1500 classic is to alternate between Biotech Lubeguard and Liqui moly MoS2. I've got liquimoly in the crankcase now along with Supertech full synthetic 5w30. She's smooth and quiet w/ unreal fuel economy.

I've got 5 more bottles of MoS2 and 4 bottles of Lube Guard Bio tech. This will last me a long time between ~5000mi OCIs.

Just a couple questions, first where did you happen to find this stuff in Canada? I have bought all mine via Amazon and EBay with Amazon deals coming out a little cheaper, but still more than I’d like to pay.
Secondly, I have a Lubegard engine flush kit that I want to use on my next oil change (October). Have you’s tried this product? I have 4 bottles of biotech left. Should be good for now.

Make sure you collect tax and send it to your gov't, lest you will be in jail for a decade if it's anything like America. Nowadays if you are a dirty stinking drug dealer the let you out of jail and apologize for ever arresting you, but if you do small white collar crime they want to sentence you to death in jail.

For you guys that are running a bottle of LG Biotech in with your oil, how long are you keeping that oil in the sump? 4, 5, 6K? I realize everyone's mileage may vary.. Just curious.

Burla and Wildone, you are an influence!!
Just changed oil...
5-30 PUP with a bottle of bioguard and a SRT filter.....
We shall see

The old way of thought was never use additives, but when that adage came to light was when oil formulas were full of protective additives, those additive levels since have been taking out of oil formulas or seriously reduced. In my opinion your strategy is simply as good as you can do for your hemi. If I didn't have hemi tick, I would literally do the same exact thing as you, biotech plus 5w30 PUP and I would use a RP filter as well. Hands down best you can get. I haven't put a lot of thought into what I would use in replacement of PUP, but I will run 5w30 PUP in the wife's 4 banger as long as I can get it. I don't add biotech as a strategy because the vehicle just don't need it at all, but it isn't a hemi, we know hemi's like having that ester/moly base in there.

I'm wondering that too. Just getting ready to switch to Redline 5W20 and wanted to add the Biotech to it.

Lubegard is not a tbn extender, in fact may dilute tbn package a little bit as it is very low CA and no Mag. It is full of ep/aw additives, but the reason why we change our oil when we do it because of acid buildup, and at best it would be a wash in this area. Whatever your oci is on whatever oil you are using, I'd maybe take off 1,000 miles. If you are talking about a 5-6k mile interval, I wouldn't worry about it at all. I'd start having concerns at the over 10k mile intervals, at that point I'd want to start seeing uoas.

Between the wifes car and my truck, each are lucky to see 5,000 miles at most in a year,so i change oil in both every spring. Both her car and my truck usually get parked in the winter,if we get a decent Chinook here, and the streets dry up in the winter, then they both might get a few days of driving during the winter. I have a company vehicle, and the wife drives her winter beater in the winter, lol

Oh I hear ya. I know these products aren't extenders. I wasn't planning on going beyond 5 to 6K max with biotech or liqui moly. My usual go-to synthetic oil has been Supertech for 15yrs or so. Sometimes Napa synth or Amazon basics. I usually run Supertech, Napa or carquest oil filters. My personal take is I don't need a $10-15 filter for a non-extended OCI. In fact you guys are probably going to cringe at me, but I recently mail ordered a box of a dozen Champ brand (champion labs) PF48 oil filters for a whole $32 shipped. I'm a money wasting maniac I tell ya.

My hemi is pretty quiet.I wanted to see if lubeguard could make any difference.I have put about 300 miles on it and that hemi is smoother and even more quiet.Don't know personally how good it would do in a noisy engine tho.
