Anyone powder coat their stock exhaust tips? Looking to do mine black. I like the stock size (still might see if I buy new tips getting the next size up) and rolled edge. Or any other options? Pics if possible

They might hold up good with being power coated. I painted my stock tips with high heat paint and they lasted almost a year before fading and starting to peel.

I picked up black MBRP 5" tips from DB Customs and they look like they could last forever. I thought about power coating but I figured I would put that money towards bigger tips that were already black...glad I did.

JJ has the original 5 inch mufflex tips, but he seemed like he wasn't very happy with them. The new tips looks pretty good, and like Butch said, Dave or one of the vendors could probably get you a good deal on them.

Here's the new version.

The DODTP5 for 09-Newer Dodge Ram 1500 5.7..

Not enthused - they just don't go back as far as I want, and I'll never buy from that supplier anymore.

The new tips came out, I want to see pics of 'em on the truck. Few others asked some questions on them, was met with a "you guys are ******** about a $190 set of tips, go to Pepboys and run their crap". Ok. I will, *********. (actually, I won't - but I sure won't have their improved **** on my truck either)
