So I'm in the process of putting this fan in and I was curious on what the best way to wire it I heard the probes and what is supplied with the kit has issues on getting the temps set right and failure so I was going to wire it on my 12v acc with ign on in the under hood fuse panel on a relay but curious how y'all have them wired?

You've picked a great fan.
I ran the similar unit (without controls) on my '00 Ram without any issues ever.

I have never been a fan of the temperature probes that push into the radiator fins.
They have never stayed working for more than a few months in my experience.

Tapping properly, NOT A "T Tap" onto a ignition hot under hood works beautifully IMO.

Be sure your battery / ground connections are GOOD tight connections. You'll eat up the fan motor with a crappy connection, not to mention you can start an electrical fire!

I always run a manual over-ride switch personally. When I start crawling around off-road or sitting in a long line of traffic, I'd crank that puppy up just so I wasn't fighting heat soak.

Greg, sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I don't think I ever put the phone down today, and I'm still working right now trying to get caught up. If your kit didn't have the instructions in the box, you can find them at the link below...

http://automotive.flex-a-lite.com/pdf_instructions/183-99183.pdf

Their instructions are very easy to follow, so that should get you all setup.

What do you mean by an override switch and what I was going to wire is I got one of the fuses with a tap wire on it I was gonna put it into that spare fuse block with a 30 amp but wouldn't the fan run 100% that way?

I picked up the same fan off the forums last summer an installed it haven't had a problem w/ the probe just didn't like how it stabbed my radiator. We just installed it how it said too w/ also quick switch for it when at the track.
