Black quads from amazon or ebay.
Morimoto mini h1 projectors
profile switchback halos

been working on these for a couple weeks, bad weather and cold temperatures have slowed things down, but here is my progress so far.

Pain in the ass, hopefully worth the effort. I have purchased multiple incorrect pieces and had to order the correct ones, but i know what pieces are needed now, and i would do it all again if needed or wanted.

Besides the switchbacks, the steps with just the projectors, was that a PITA as well? I would love to get a TYC replicas and try it myself.

If you go with replica projectors then you will need an adaptet plate to put the new projectors in. Theretrofit source has them as well as the fxr projectors that are hard to beat. The baking open part is difficult. Get some panel popping pliers to help. You can use a screwdriver but it's harder.

I wish the halos didnt have those stupid mounting tabs. Epoxy works fine and you don't have to wire them in place. You do all that work and make them look nice just to have wire showing or 3 little protrusions.

Actually for me, baking them open was quick and easy, but the headlights i used are not factory, amazon has a projector kit for less than 30 dollars that i ordered because in needed shrouds faster than TRS could get them to me. the projectors in the kit are actually pretty nice, we will be using them in my sons headlight project on his GMC canyon.

Patients is the key, im finicky about painting so i took my time.

The mounting wires on the halos dont bother me, i feel more comfortable that wont fall off running down country roads, my wife didnt notice the wires until i pointed them out. i will be using the halos for drls and added turn signals.

The cooler thing to me is when i turn on my brights i will have double the light output, due to the gat dropping and brights coming on.

The next part for me is partial reassembly, mount on truck, line up cutoff line perfectly, tighten everything and fully reassemble, but weather is not cooperating so it will be longer.

I'm interested in doing this as well. When you're done would you mind posting part numbers? I'm sure a handful of us would appreciate it
