I'm having the same issue with my 2014 that I just purchased. It doesn't seem to want to give me a PIN, but when it does give me a PIN, my phone won't connect to it. Along with that, I'm having difficulty deleting old devices that have been paired to it from the previous owner. I know I should have checked this, but I'll admit bluetooth is the last thing I think about when purchasing a vehicle.

I click to add a device, but nothing happens other than the "button" beeping. Half the time my phone doesn't even pick it up on the bluetooth list. I'm wondering if I need to replace the Uconnect module, and if that's the case, is this a dealer-only install that requires codes of some sort, or something I can do myself?

Have you tried resetting the radio? The dealership should be doing that as the last buyers info is in there.

The pics i posted is what i have, i believe its a 8.5 screen

Sorry I am at work and we block the site you have your pics posted on.

Here is the soft reset

"Step 1) Put your vehicle into the accessories mode (ACC or RUN) **For keyless start (push-button) vehicles: push the start button twice without having your foot on the gas or brake pedal**
Step 2) Hold down the Phone and voice recognition buttons (or volume and tuner knobs), at the same time, for thirty seconds.
Step 3) Let go of the buttons(after the screen goes black)
Step 4) Turn vehicle off
Step 5) Open driver’s side door for thirty seconds
Step 6) Close door
Step 7) Restart vehicle
Step 8) Let the media center load up and see if concern is still present"

You've got some great advice here, JOSHHASS. Send us a direct message if you're still having trouble. We can do some additional troubleshooting.

Was having this problem pairing my android phone to my 2014 express. Google helped me. Once you get to the screen to add a device, tap add device. It will attempt to pair with your phone. Make sure blue tooth is on on your phone. On your phone, settings, connections, tap blue tooth, tap scan and look for uconnect. Tap uconnect and wait for it to connect.

Just had this issue this past wednesday this week, my galaxy note 8 for whatever reason, uconnect kept saying Bluetooth unavailable. Finally got it working on the phone setting, but it wouldn't work on the media setting so I can stream Pandora l. It was really annoying.

Then thursday, it started working again like nothing happened. Thing has a mind of its own.

go back to dealer and have them pair it for you.
They did mine when I bought my truck, and when I updated phones, they did it then as well.
Only took a few minutes

I have a connection problem not quite the same. It's a problem to connect but I am able. I and my wife have old LG flip phones. Once I get them connected mine will work fine until she and her phone get in. My phone is selected as mainor whatever. When she and her phone get in my phone will no longer connect. I have deleted her phone and it still happens. Then I have to delete uconnect from my phone, turn it off and on. Then I can reconnect. This really is a lot of trouble. How can this be fixed? I want my wife to be able to use thetruck with her phone.
