Some times when shifting between 3-4 gear it does it to the point where it's a very loud fluttering sound out of the exhaust and it falls on its face for a sec then it's all good.. It does it even with the shift buttons on the steering wheel are switched to 8 so the MDS is not coming on.. But I have to be in to the gas enough like pulling out in to traffic for it to do it.. I have no idea what's going on but it's driving me crazy and it's kinda embarrassing sounding when it does it because my truck is so loud... Any idea's?

I'll try and get it on video.. There's no way it's hitting the rev limiter cause it doesn't do it when I floor it only when sorta on the gas..

I wonder if disconnecting the battery for a little while won't help.. More or less a PCM reset..

my truck was running perfect.

I decided to get a 14" magnaflow bolt on muffler and it was fine.
I feel like I lost some bottom end power, but I feel like i gained some top end.

Then the other day i was driving and the same thing happened to my truck.
The MDS is disabled, so its not that.

But you described it right, it sputters like if it lost power real quick but nothing. It happened to me about 3 times already.

I wonder if it needs a retune or something?

The truck is acting the exact same way as it did before the muffler. the only thing is now You can HEAR it doing it, instead of just feeling it. It's the torque management.
Get a tuner, problem solved. :favorites13:

I plan on getting a tuner once I save up the coin but the truck never bogged like that before.. When I hear it I feel it too where as before I noticed neither..
