First, yes I looked through 71 shifting threads, but I didn't get exactly what I'm looking for. Anyhow, I love my Ram to death but I have one issue, when driving around town the transmission always seams it is in a gear too high for engine and while it isn't bogging terrible, it seams to me I would rather be higher in the power band as opposed to be constantly lower. Questions I have,

Stupid question first, Has anyone ever asked the dealer to adjust the shift points to get better performance?

Anyone else have the same concern?

Would getting a performance chip void the warranty, probably heard this one hundred times?

Is there any downside as far as transmission wear if I manually shift my Automatic when driving around town?

Do a lot of you guys shift your truck for the same reason?

Thanks for all replies.

My 2012 did that. Biggest culprit is the 3.55 gears. I recently added the bullydog tuner and no more bogging down. For some reason I also think that the mds had something to do with it. I turned that off when I installed the bullydog.
