I deleted my 2015 Cummins 6spd stick. After 6 STEALERSHIP visits on my diesel exhaust plugged. Spent $1500 on deleting EPA junk and exhaust 4inch pipe. Last 350,000 miles only stealership visits was clutch change, water pump recall and steering bar recall. (Oops, air bag light came on while off roading rough fire roads in Oregon mountains, went to stealership, guy listen to me, went outside & said under your seats, any junk? Yup, GLOCK bag&6mags, he said can you remove the Glock, after he jiggled the plugs, light went off, said it's a common issues with rough off roading, bouncing, etc. Gave him 6 Tillamook beef sticks &$20tip). MPGs went up from 19+ to 25-32 MPGs. That's 8-12cents a mile saved on fuel, oils, DEF, tires, labor, filters, STEALERSHIP visits. That's a free truck. $35-37,000 over the DELETED miles.
Now get this I access fuel at $1.25/ gallon and at 25 MPGs = 5cents a mile. Omg vs. $3/15mpg=20-30cents mile!
I change oil every 10,000 miles.
That's 15-25c/ mile saved vs. DEF trucks. Or $1500-$2500 every oil change!!
