Made the bottom part of the box, this will be attached to the fiberglass tub. It is the same size as the fold flat floor to match the theme of the truck and the other side
Measured the interior volume with water and kept the side open cut to the right size as the interior volume needed for specific sub and capped at correct size. Glassed and bondo in place, shwing!
Made some openings for the sub and amp tray/ kept the tray large for future amp size change possibilities. There is a trim ring going over anyways. Later on in the build I ended up changing this to be exact for the pdx
Last one for now. Gotta do a couple other mods but it will be off for line x
Soon.
I am debating on Polk MM 6.5 comps and 6x9s to keep this simple. Maybe running a kicker front row to tie in signal from the head unit. When ever I get around to doing the actual wiring.
I'm debating the bondo and smoothing....I may not to keep them removable. Haven't decided on that part yet. Thanks for the replies!
I'm planning on making a few more for some people so they have custom tailored boxes for their subs and amps. My next goal is to get molds for chevy and ford so I can make prefab boxes there to.
