Great job, what was your mile per hour on both of those runs?
I'm just wondering because when I tried my nitrous at the track I did pick up over 5 tenths from off the bottle to on the bottle. But it was running way rich and fell off by the 330' and my mile per hour was slower in the 1/8 and in the 1/4 mile.
Should have her dialed in soon though, I hope... lol
Thanks, Bill

The track is 60 feet short so the times don't add up. But still works for comparisons with my other runs from this track.
On motor, 8.89@ 73.44 mph with a 2.21 60'
on bottle, 8.18@ 81.82mph with a 2.33 60' (not sure what happened there)
This was in 2600' DA.

Do you have a transmission tune with the torque management removed? Sounds like the bogging between shifts could be from clutch overlap and the reason I don't spray through the shifts, plus I run full TM.

I have the 8 speed, so no trans tuning at all. But I was running the HF tune with TCS disabled. Maybe I just need to get used to it, but it really feels like the shifts slowed down. I'll try to get a video.

I should mention that even with the smallest fuel jet I could feasibly step down to for a 150 (62/28), I was still running a consistent 10.9 to 11.1 AFR for the entire pass. So I've ordered some more jets, and we will see what happens.

I've ordered new jets, to try to correct the AFR. Also planning on ordering a NOS TPS/WOT window switch. And to address the traction woes, I'm gonna find some wheels to mount my radials on.

Does anyone know of any light-ish weight wheels in an 18x9 or wider on our bolt pattern?

I'm not sure there ever will be a "final" setup to the truck. To the nitrous, yes.

Yes. A 315 width tire will have some bulge on a 9" wheel, but it wont be too bad, and the backspacing on that wheel will keep it in the fender.

I'm not worried about the bulge, just making sure the back spacing was right to not stuff a tire into a control arm or something.

I hope she's coming along great.
Heads up on the Denso's
Yes they foul pretty quick.. lol
So yeah you will need to switch back and forth like others had said. I'll be switching back to stock plugs this weekend. Jay is going to send me a nitrous tune for a 75 shot so I can run that without having to switch plugs all the time.
Hey 75 shot is better than nothing. Lol
I'll try the 150 after a bit when I get some new plugs and I feel like changing them back and forth again.
So kick some ass for me on the 150+ hp kit and I'll do what I can on a 75 shot for now.. lol
Bill.

Got the new jets in. They don't fit. Note to anyone interested, NOS brand jets will not work in nitrous outlet kits. Lesson learned, tried to save some money, bit me in the ass. But if anyone needs some NOS brand jets, PM me for a good deal :rockit:

Ran into another snag, it's being resolved by nitrous outlet. The fuel rail adapter quick release spring broke. I was driving down the road and started smelling fuel and losing power, pulled over and found that the spring had broken in the adapter. I didnt have it in a bind, It has been installed once and never removed. The spring seems to have just split in half on one side, causing a massive fuel leak. Thankfully I was able to just take it out of the system and reconnect the factory line to get home, but that could have been bad. NO is sending me a new adapter in the mail, nice guys, seemed kinda upset with themselves that their product almost left me stranded or on fire.
