whenever I replace brakes and rotors, I always go through a bedding procedure to make sure everything seats correctly. But I’ve never done the same thing on new vehicles. I’m curious if any of you bed in your brakes on new trucks?

nope, and never have had an issue with either braking power or longevity.

Nope, don’t do it with new brakes either. Never an issue.

I have done literally 100's of brake jobs over the years for myself, friends, and many flips, and have never done anything different driving wise after them.

I feel like i should have. I have apx 2000 miles on my new set of brakes and noticed both of the rear rotors were not being worn across the entire wear surface. See pics below. I am confused on what is going on because I was told it was a bad caliper but it happened to both sides in the rear, I doubt both would go bad right at the same time. Anyone know what could be going on? I reassembled and reversed the pads since they are worn on opposite sides of eachother. BP1.jpg BR1.jpg BR2.jpg
