Broken front right axel

What to do about this? We are on our way to the dealer. Only 62,000 miles. This is our livelihood

Hopefully nothing more is broken. Is the wheel damaged, tire cut or did you get lucky and just pop the bead. Also brakes probably survived apart from maybe a couple lines. Axle is actually not too hard to replace. It is part of the powertrain, but it looks like you're over unless you have extended warranty.

Why is that part of the axle red? Is it caused by something when the camera took the picture? or is that glowing red as in hot?
If that's glowing from heat, just shows the torque of the Cummins, you probably didn't realize the bearing was dragging that bad. My buddy burned the brakes up on his trailer not realizing the emergency brake cable was pulled.
If I'm not mistaken, the CTD has a 5 year, 100K miles power train warranty.

Did the lugs shear and that snap the axle or did the hub come loose (hard to tell from the pic). A broken front axle would not knock the wheel off, all front axle are full floaters.

What did you hit to shear off all the lugs?

Is it a broken axle or did the hub bearing go out and come apart. ?

Guys that is a broken unit bearing. Looks to me when it broke it then broke the axle stud shaft.
I see no sheared off lug nuts.
