BT drop ?

On the BT lowering kit 2/4 for 2wd quad cab, does the crossmember need to be cut out. I was reading the instructions and saw that for quad crew cabs you might have to notch out your crossmember is this true. If so does the Mcgaughys kit economy or deluxe need to be done the same way. Ty

I think that was only for 2013 models. Mine is a 2wd 2014 qc and i didnt have to notch anything.
