Storage helps... I installed a folding drop-down stairs ladder to access the unused space over the garage and then laid plywood flooring on the joists. I've also added a deer hoist electric winch to help lift large stuff like bikes and furniture.

well,i got my bathroom and guest suite finished above my workshop.turned out fantastic.i've turned the suite into my private audiophile space when we have no guests so i can hit the volume hard and not listen to the wife ***** about the "excessive" bass.
