I have a bully dog that I had on my 2010 4.7 but recently traded it in for a 2012 hemi I called bully dog and they told me I can use it on the hemi but need to purchase the unlock code.

My question is how does the bully dog work on the Hemi? And what options are available on the programmer for the hemi? It's just for now cuz I will b getting a hemifever tune soon after I get more upgrades

Thanks

You should be able to just download the new 5.7 update for it.

So I should be able to just plug into the computer and basically change the vehicle and update it for the 5.7.

Did you return your last truck back to stock before removing the tuner? If they try to charge you an unlock fee, then I would just sell it and go with the Hemifever tune from the start. You will gain more power and have better drivability from the Hemifever tuning than you will from the BD, so you cant go wrong.

Yes I returned it back to stock and the UN lock fee is 100 and it will b just for now till I get more upgrades then hemifever tune so I can get a custom tune. But what can bully dog actually do on a premium tune for hemi?

The Bullydog is giving us about 20-22hp on the performance tune.

Hemifever is sh0wing 30-35hp plus you also get a custom transmission tune. If they were not charging you to swap the tuner over, then I would say stick with the BD for now. If they are charging you to unlock it, then I would just sell it and go straight to the Hemifever tune.

Once you buy a Hemifever tune, it is with you for the life of the truck. He will send you the basic 89 and 93 custom tunes as soon as you get the tuner. 9 times out of 10, you don't have to modify anything after that, but if you want to do some data logging a year down the road, then you are still covered. Updates are free for as long as you own the truck.

Right now, the ARH longtubes are the only proven set of longtubes available. SW just released theirs, but I don't know anyone running them yet. We currently have 4 sets of the ARH 1 3/4" kits with cats and 1 set of the 1 3/4" without cats in stock.

What are the prices on them? And which are better with or without

1 3/4" with cats are $1635 and without cats would be $1505. Running without cats is going to make an extra 6-8hp. If you chose to go for the headers without cats, Hemifever will also be able to disable your rear o2 sensors for you so that you don't have a check engine light.

Looks like I'm going to need to add to my shopping list lol... And I have the 180* tstat ordered and soon b getting the tb but I was going to get the 85mm since I have no headers but will it hurt anything running with a 87mm and no headers

If you think you are going to add headers, then go with the 87mm. There is no downside to running the 87mm now before the headers go on, but you just will not see its full potential until you install the headers.
