I am getting ready to pull the trigger on the kit...cam has to be getting ground down pretty good as I have noticed tick getting much quiter after a few months.
Anyways, Im gonna try to buy the greene cam kit and was hoping that there is a knowledgeable forum member in Southeast Alabama/tristate area that would like to drink free beers, eat pizza, and give me peace of mind while doing this job as I have never been this deep into an engine.
I am very mechanically inclined but this is a new maintenance item for me.
Ive read the guides, watched vids, and all that jazz and it don't seem too daunting but this is my baby, and daily driver and has to go well lol.

. Also You will see some people not pull the oil pump to re set the timing me being one of them and usually ends badly. Loosen the bolts on the oil pan so it tilts down a bit so you can get to the bolt and pull the oil pump it will save you a lot of BS. You should also change the timing chain guides and while heads are off replace manifold bolts/gaskets.
