So I goofed up working late into the early morning hours

I turned the camshaft mounting bolts apx 1 full turn clockwise

tightening, them instead of loosening them.

I did this for the first 5 bolts from back to front until one broke

which I was able to get out with vice grips.

I have re tightened the bolts to the 84 in/lbs torque repair book indicates,

they hold and feel snug, but my question is whether I should do

something more to make sure nothing bust loose while driving?

are they one time use ( Torque to yield ) if so replace them ! If not Put some blue Locke tight on them and retorque them!
They are not one time use, thanks for the blue locke tight suggestion, I wondered about that. I also picked up some new bolts just incase that helps, but the originals looked ok compared to a good one. My real fear is damage to the block/mount, but time will tell.

That's a good call on new bolts you may have fractured them and not be able to see the fracture till it's to late !
