Can I run these tires? 275/40/20

tire measures to a little over 28 inches. I have a lowered truck(2/4) and getting new 20s but want to go either this size or 285/50/20. I’m leaning more towards the 275s. Anyone run this size before? Not to concearned about speedometer since I have a tuner. Any other issues i should consider ?

Smaller than stock and the same width. Not going to rub. My truck doesn't rub when lowered 2" front and rear on 275/65-20 (air suspension in entry/exit mode). If anything would rub it would be the front. Since mine doesn't rub with 34's dropped 2" yours definitely won't rub on 31's, which is what 275/50-20 is
