Hello!
I am still going back and forth on a new rebel or loaded laramie with 3.92 and have a question about towing. We're also looking at buying a newer tritoon boat that is across state lines and i'm wondering if there are any negatives to buying the truck and then heading over and bringing a heavy ass boat home?
Do the new trucks require a lengthy break in time before i'm supposed to haul something heavier with it?
The boat i'm looking at is like 4.4k lbs plus accessories and then the tandem axle boat trailer itself (surge brakes i believe)
I've towed our fairly hefty Searay 210 Select speedboat with my 2013 F150 FX4 no problem many times, but don't want to mess up a new truck.
(My 2013 FX4 has a leaky turbo so i don't want to risk messing it up further by hauling this tritoon roughly 250-300 miles back home)
