Can mds be disabled

I threw an O2 code (P2245) and the MDS no longer kicks on.
Nor does the remote start.

So you COULD unplug an 02 sensor ....if yuj don't have a tuner

I turned off MDS for a while but I actually decided I like having it so turned it back on. I use the Hypertech tuner. I do love the instant power with it off but it does seen to save some gas.
