Catch Can Anyone?

If you state that its not really for the 3rd gens, can I ask why all the lx community uses them on the same hemi engine? Also I thought about putting one on my 4.7l just to see if I can collect anything, do you think that would make any sense?

Funny story .. my neighbor has a pacifica car and she was stating one day her brakes did not function correctly .. I said what do you mean ? She said the car always wants to move and the brakes dont hold the car.

So I climb in and start it up .. right off the bat .... high idle. Put my foot on the brake and put it in gear and she wanted to go lol ..

After further inspection ... the Butterfly on the TB was so gunked up it was not closing.

I get a lttle bit of stuff on my plate but I clean it regularly.

You know that **** on the plate .... that **** also gets into your engine. Cant clean that.

The 3rd gen trucks have an internal PCV system, so this catch can will not work. I only know of 2-3 guys that have fabbed up their own catch can setups for the 3rd gens.

So, my truck just turned 15000 miles yesterday. Is there any way to clean out what has already built up that doesn't involve tearing the engine down or should I not worry about it?

At only 15k, you should be fine as far as the inside of your motor goes. I would pull your throttle body off and clean it though...or we can set you up with a new ported throttle body that's already clean...haha.
