Just thought I’d share what my upr catch can had in it after about 500 miles. Was pretty thin and milky. Smelled like solvent. Pretty happy about that decision.

Good idea to keep closer eye as the temperature swing produces more condensation.

A catch can is a great investment. We offer a few brands but highly recommend the UPR above all else. Top notch quality and they work great. Anyone interested in one contact me for a quote

Had one on all 3 of the 4th gen trucks I have owned and have never once been asked about the catch can. To be honest, I think a lot of the tech's have no idea what the hell it is or what it does.

Does the UPR catch can have a screen in it? I have read that it is best to have a catch can that has a screen. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it does have a screen like filter.
I ordered the drain kit also but didnt use it, its very easy to just unscrew and dump whats in it.

Like pullya asked, did you get one with the Z bracket? If not you should!
If you zoom in a bit on this old pic you get a look at how mine is mounted and that it is out of the way

There are 2 tapped holes on the front of Block, can’t remember if they’re m8 or m10 that I bent up a custom bracket for.
Ridiculous the prices you pay for prefab aluminum but makes it plug and play for the most part.

I'll take a look there for the two tapped holes.Maybe they're not mostly blocked by plastic and hoses! Lol
