CB Radio

Just looking for places i could mount the radio and maybe a little advice on how to do it. im putting it in my 01 regular Cab its a uniden Cb.

good luck bud ive yet to find a spot i really like... Im considering making a custom overhead console to hold it and keep it out of the way... I have a 00 with a auto rcsb 4x4.. some mount it to the outside of the cup holder in an auto... ive also seen them take out the ash tray and mount it there or completely remove the cup holder and mount it there..

I have a center console and mounted my 148gtl old school to the side of it.

I mounted my 29LTD Cobra right in between the seats on the back wall, and I also mounted it right where the cup holder is, I have a 5 spd so I don't have the fold down cup holders... Its all about preference bud

ive seen guys take out the cup holder and mount it there....if your truck is a 98-01 that should work

Like Blackbeauty said its all about preferance. I built a mount and absolutely love it. Now if only I could find some black carpet for it.....

Here's what I have in my 1995. Just added an extra mount on the cupholder so I can reach it easier.
