Center console spot light

Referring to that little spot light in the power sliding window switch housing that shines down and lights up the center console.

Does this light only come on at certain times or anything? Or should it just be on at all times that running lights are on? Mine seems to turn on n off on its own...

Haven't really paid attention as to when it's on. I know mine is always on at dark, not sure about during the daylight hours, though.

Mine comes on with the running lights and turns off/dims/brightens with the interior light slider switch thing.

It dims and brightens with the instrument lights. So the brightness switch to the left of your steering wheel can control the brightness
