I was planning on just draining the fluids and refilling. Looking at my differentials, I only see 1 plug. That leads me to believe I need to pull the covers or pump the old fluid out. Am I missing something? If pulling the covers I'm thinking I should replace the gaskets.

If you don't pull the covers, you might not catch a problem just beginning in the gearing.

I am told the gaskets are reusable (rubber), but I went the safe route and ordered front and rear for mine when I do it. Something as needed as that, I'd like to have a spare, like a fan belt.

Dang, I need to get a fan belt.

If they are not reusable, I would recommend lubelocker brand. Used them on my Jeeps and dropped the diff numerous times.
