But I am not rich and I was panicking, as many of you with failed camshafts may right now be.
First, denial isn't gonna help. If you have a misfire that just won't quit, you have a fried cam lobe.
Second, and MOST IMPORTANTLY,
DO NOT ORDER A CHEAP REPAIR KIT FROM AMAZON!
This kit had a lifter **** the bed less than 1 mile after installation. I got lucky, Amazon is refunding the price and when I mentioned lawyers the agreed to cover the labor for the FIRST teardown.
Buy OEM parts and sell the ******* truck as fast as you can after that.
