Hello, I’m sure this is here somewhere but i can’t seem to find it. Links to threads would be appreciated. I’m looking for the cheapest 2 inch lift for my 2021 4x4 big horn 5.7. Right now the front sits low and has 275/55/20 wheels that are street tires. I want the leveled look with larger tires.

RC strut spacers likely, you're going to not like the ride and they're garbage parts, but they're cheap.

Bilstein 5100's for the front will be the lowest cost quality option to level the truck. Message me and I can get you set up with a quote if you are interested.

Great, so once i level out the front. Max tire size on 20 inch wheels. Also what notch on the adjustable 5100s would level it out from stock ride height.

Tire size is personal preference. Some are looking for stuffed, some want to have a balanced look but it comes down to the wheel choice and suspension choice. Higher offset wheel equals smaller tire or higher lift. Higher lift equals more dollars

Well i. Looking to stick with the stick night addiction 20 inch wheels and highest ride height is my preference. I’m thinking 285/65/r20 bc i think that’s 34.5 inch height and stick width.

Highest setting is 2.8 and highly advised new UCA’s. Measure top of your front wheel well and your rear, diff is the height needed for level. You should honestly keep 1” of rake, imho. You say cheap then keep adding things that will cost more. To go to 2.8 you will need either a spacer in the rear or different springs to accommodate a 2.8. I needed a 3/4 spacer for the rear to give me 1” rake at 2.1 setting up front.

So again, i think i didn’t explain myself correctly. I want to level to rear ride height, so I’m assuming that’s somewhere in the middle of those setting. I will measure the back and hopefully it’s only 1-1.5 inch difference. I’m then asking about tallest tires without any rubbing.

So it looks like there’s a 2.5 inch difference in my front ride height than in the back.

Yes the 285/65/20 is a 34.5” tires, just a touch wider than the factory 275.

So it looks like there’s a 2.5 inch difference in my front ride height than in the back.

I would not go much more than 1.5-2” up front personally without raising the back too. To me a 3/4”-1” rake looks very level…any less than that and the ass end starts looking low to me.

thanks, that looks like the plan. I’ll go up 1.5 inches on the front to “level” and then probably go with 275/65/r20 because they are easier to find than 285

Keep in mind anytime going over 2" angle correcting UCA's are highly advised to get your front end geometry where it needs to be. Also you wont have to worry about the RAM's weak ball joints. Under 2" you can get away withe stock UCA's

Here's my 19' with front and rear 5100 Bilstein's with the front set at 2.1" raised and no rear height enhancements, and all sitting on the stock factory springs, and stock UCA's.

I'm rolling on BFG KO2 LT285/65R20's, and still have a slight rake because I tow and haul periodically.

I've had this set up since shortly after I purchased new in June 19' and no issues. Perfect ride quality with excellent handling and control characteristics.

This is a perfect set up and stance, and the little extra height from the taller tires is a nice bonus. The wheels fit the wells great and the tires just poke out a little giving it a nice head on look and stance.

That looks great. What load tire does everyone run? I can find tires that are load range E, 10 ply. Will that make the ride rough or is that ok?

This is what I run currently and the ride is good!
Sure, a P-Metric tire would ride with more cushion, but I opted for a tire that will provide me with a more robust characteristic and afford me more protection from possible punctures!

I travel highway, a lot, and yes, the tires are heavier than a standard P-Metric, but with proper road-force balancing and frequent rotations, plus proper tire pressure that is checked and adjusted regularly (I run 40psi cold, front and rear), you'll get even wear and a smooth ride!
