Alright guys about a month ago I had my JBA Longtubes installed. And ever since then I have been getting a P0133 engine light. Last week I replaced the O2 sensor that was showing the code. No dice. It still thrower the code. So I know that's not the problem. Today I re torqued the header bolts down thinking they loosened up some and was allowing a exhaust leak. And I'm still getting the code. Do any of you guys know what my problem is. And how to solve it. This is driving me crazy guys. I'm in desperate need of help.

Yeah I cleared it with the tuner. It didn't come back. But it was logged in the tuner. So it was getting ready to set the light off.

Ok here's a stupid question: did the longtube headers move the position of the sensor further back?

Shoot I'm honestly not sure if it did or not. I'll have to crawl under my uncles Limited and compare his to mine.

It could possibly be farther back. The code P0133 is Oxygen Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1, Sensor 1).

I'm posting from my phone, so I can't see your sig. If you have custom tuning, simply have your tuner disable the code. We see this a lot on the newer trucks with longtubes, regardless of whether you have cats or not.

Hey Matt I was hoping you would chime in. The code that it's throwing is not for the cats. It's throwing a code for I believe the sensor in front of the drivers side cat location.

From what I have seen, it's caused by the increased airflow of the longtubes though. I have seen this code thrown by guys with all brands of longtubes...arh, jba, and stainless works. It isn't hurting anything though as we simply clear the code in the tuning and the trucks run just as well.

Ok. So this is a code that can be cleared through a hemifever tune? Looks like I'll be selling my Bullydog to a boy at work then. Because this is driving me crazy.
