I have a 16 SLT with the cloth seats.Looking to deep clean them without using the can /foam upholstry cleaners . I see soaking the material with a spray bottle and wipe rinsing the solution out with cloths. Any ideas on a good detergent that wont leave residues or maybe another method of addressing this endeavor. Thanx in advance

This guy has other videos as well (basically disaster videos) where he uses the same process but with a drill brush

Can't you just unzip from cushion then throw it into washing machine - yours is cloth right

The factory seat covers are attached to the foam using “hog-ring” retainers and are a pain in the ass to remove and replace

A pro carpet cleaner like Stanley steamer would probably do your full interior for about 50 bucks. For another 10 he'd probably spray on a Teflon stain resistant coating.

Would need an extractor like a Bissel from Walmart. That would be the best bet

I used Stanley Steamer last week. Took the cat to the vet and he peed in his carrier and got on the back seats. There was also a thick stain from some adhesive that I couldn't get out on my own and a few water stains. They did an awesome job and I was very happy with how it turned out. I have a 2017 crew cab and it cost around $110 after tax. I would of paid any amount to get the cat ***** out.
