Clear Coat Application

I did some paint touch touch up and now want to apply clear coat. I have the spray can. The area is about 3" round. Should I use the spray can or the pen? I don't know if the spray will run look like sh_t.

Do you have a picture? I would say 3" depending on what it looks like, I would use the pen clear over spray. Its going to get on what you dont want it on and if you tape it there will be a line...
