Okay so I have a 89 d350 dually diesel. I bought and had a local mechanic put on a new slave cylinder because the pedal felt a little soft. After getting it back from the mechanic it is even worse. I don’t know how else to fix it. I’ve pumped the slave while connected to the master forcing all the air up. I did that until it got hard to pump and still it won’t engage into gear. I’ve had my wife pump the clutch and I’ve bled it on the slave with the Alan head screw and still won’t engage. I’ve been told they’re hard to bleed but after all this I’m still only getting a half inch of travel on my slave cylinder. Any advice would help thanks.
