I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 5 speed. I think the switch that allows the engine to crank when the clutch is pushed in is bad. Where would that be? I used to be able to start it in gear as long as the clutch was pushed in, but now I have to have it out of gear and play with the clutch and tranny for awhile to get it to crank over. Any help would be great. I have no idea where that switch would be or even if that is the problem.

typically they would be up under the dash where the clutch pedal arm attaches to the firewall.
