Hey guys, was just on the highway in traffic and check engine light came on along with the red lighting bolt in backwards parenthesis (electronic throttle control system issue), and traction control shut off. Throttle was limited and the truck would not shift.
Codes:
P0107
U1424
P1dd2
Clearing the codes doesn't clear them, even temporarily. I've got the battery negative pulled now.
So, I just did the 6.4 manifold swap and these codes popped up on me when I went to purge the fuel pressure. I disconnected the ait sensor, map sensor, and the throttle body connection. Then I remembered to pull the fuel system fuse and start it to release fuel pressure. I didn't think that quick start would screw things up, but it did throw those codes. I cleared them and continued my swap. After the swap, I got the codes but was able to clear them and restart a handful of times and let it run and they didn't come back. I've probably driven 500+ miles no problem (with these codes).
I did get the P0219a along with P0301 yesterday, so I know my injectors weren't the issue for my misfire. Only thing left for those two codes (and the p0307 that usually shows up) is to swap out the upstream 02 sensor for bank 1. After that, I gotta try a vacuum and or leak down test. I pulled bank 1 valve covers during the manifold swap and all valvespring movement looked good, so I ruled out the typical lifter issue.
As usual, thoughts/guidance appreciated.
Edit: looking back through my pictures, I got different codes that came up during my intake manifold swap...
U1424
P0113
P0222
P0123
So only u1424 is similar but I could have sworn I had the p1dd2 as well before finishing the swap
