hi, new here and really needing some advice cause this problem is driving me absolutely CRAZY!!! ok so on cold start it'll run for a second on its own, then die if i dont keep it reved up for a good minute or two. heres what i have done..
replaced IAC, Fuel pump (cr*ped out on me), Distributor cap & rotor, spark plugs and wires, Throttle position sensor (threw a kill code), cleaned the throttle body, i also did a hard reset after replacing the IAC to clear any saved data and load tested the battery. replacing the IAC fixed it for about a week then it started doing the same BS again.. after it starts running on its own it runs absolutely fine. this problem is driving me absolutely crazy so any help would be greatly appreciated

That is an interesting issue. You replaced all the parts I would have thought of Don't think it would be the computer going out but it could be. Have you reset the computer again since it returned?

I had similar problems with my 99 sliverado. the codes were O2 sensors but it turned out to be a manifold leak. Not sure how to test, but would be worth checking out.
