My 2019 Ram 2500 Limited HD 4WD started yesterday beeping and blinking on he dash every time I put it in reverse. I was in my own driveway, and the closest thing to me was my camper at least 40 feet away. Tried it when I got to the office this morning and the same problem. Is this a glitch, a problem which needs fixed by the dealer, or did I do something inadvertently which caused it?

Mine detects objects over 40’ away. It has amazed and startled me many times.

Make sure sensors are clean, not got mud on sumthing on one of them. Also, in Uconnect EVIC< U can adjust volume sensitivity a lil. But sometimes they go South and U need get BCM reflashed, just saying. I also have the Backup Brake park assist on my truck turned off, so it not lock up when in reverse if it sees a Blade of Grass. Of course, U can hit switch and turn off the rear and/or front sensors if U want.
