Hello All,
Issues with my 2019 Ram Limited seem to keep creeping up. First I have a delaminating dashbord but lately a new issue has presented it self. About a month ago I was backing up to park and my entire dash lit up like a chrismas tree. The vehicle continued to run and after restarting the truck the lights cleared but the check engine light didnt clear for about a few hours later. A few days later the issue happened again while backing into my driveway. This time after the light went crazy I shut off the truck then was unresponsive. It would not start and the side step would not go back into posistion. Almost as if the truck lost power. I let the truck sit. Then it started with no problem that was a month ago. 2 days ago I was backing up and I did the same thing as the first instance...Dash lit up for a few minutes intermittently then all the warnings went off and just the check engine light was on, which cleared the next day(never lost power). I have done some research and it seems like the issuse is occuring for other owners and is hard to troubleshoot. Some suggested it is CAN bus related. Others say its powere related. I just replaced my battery 4 months ago. With the issue hapenning when going in reverse I was curious if it was related to the electronic shifter.
any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
