Compresion test procedure?

So I have all 8 plugs out and figure I will do a comp test, can it be done with all the plugs out? Thanks for all advice.

Yes. Disable the fuel pump and your spark source first.

Unplug the injectors and remove plugs then hold the pedal to the floor while you crank it

^ When I tested compression in my engine years back, I pulled the fuel pump relay in the PDC and unplugged the ignition coil. Bit less trouble than unplugging several things, yes? Or is there a reason not to do it this way?
