confused about my axle leaking. help?

i have a problem here about my 1994 dodge ram 1500. i dont wanna destroy my front axle. first off my passenger side front axle is leaking. right by the tire. that a axle seal or a dust boot? ive heard both. i also heard its not a big deal. but its leaking gear oil so it has to be bad. if it is how to i replace it? like step by step. please help and thank you

Axle seal I am sure since you don't have cv joints. I would replace why risk a failure for somewhat easy repair is how I look at it.

i just need to find out how to do it step by step. i know how to take the hub and everything out. just need to know how to take out the axle shaft on the passenger side to put it in
