COOLANT HOSE

I just bought a 2022 ram 3500 HO 6.7. does anyone know why my upper radiator hose is super tight? I got home from work at 6:20 and came out here and checked it at 7:20. I figured that would be enough time to cool down but I may be wrong. Any ideas???

Its job is to absorb heat more then water and transfer that heat with air flow. So it will not cool as quick as water without air flow. Plus is cools other items that retain heat as well and slowly cools it. So it's summer and a vehicle that uses coolant to cool other items. I would give it one more hour, nothing out of normal.

Plus coolant and water have thermal expansion when hot, why it's tight. if it bugs you try silicone hoses, same thing will happen but they are lifetime hoses.
