So, can I ask you guys to post your RAMs operating temps?

My coolant temp is sitting up at around 97 degrees C on the hwy.(208F)

My last truck would sit around the 87C mark - so this seems high. In the city it will clip 100C maybe to 101 or 102.

Normal?

That is what Ram wants as the operating temperature. Running 205/208F.

Ok thanks! Just seemed high to me, but maybe I am just used to my diesel. It never seems to go above 102, so all good there.

My thermostat reliably opens at 206 degrees, drops to around 195, and then stabilizes in the 204-206 range. You are fine even if it is running in the 220-240 range but it would raise my eyebrows as to the cause.

Reason it runs warm is the factory thermostat is a 203f plus the ags system keeps it hot. I deleted the ags from my truck and now I don’t ever get above 205-206f when I have the bed loaded

My 6.4 runs between 208-222 depending on driving conditions. When it was new it would run up to 212 and then shoot down to 194, over and over and over. I've never owned a vehicle that did that.
