yea, the 2018 2500 doesnt have a radiator cap. Everything goes though the overflow
Yes RMI 25 is a leave in product, read RMI 25 page and see what other benefits it does. And that is it, if you have gunk in overflow, take it out, RMI 25 traps it in Overflow, if you have nothing in overflow, your system is good, no slime. So, I could in theory drain some on the overflow, Then add the RMI, then top off with new or drained coolant. After that just run it like normal. From time to time take a look at the overflow and clean the junk that might accumulate in it. that's it? that's the whole process?
Post 6 in this thread. If you don't have a radiator cap, then your over flow should be pressurized, so yes it will work very well. It works anyway, but better in pressurized though the over flow tank. My rav 4 is the same, you can see it mix.
I usually run about 16oz's of it in my toys Ed.It does help in my opinion.I just ordered an 8oz. bottle for my '15 SLT 5.7. Won't get here for about 10 days, We will see what/how it does.
It's supposed to clean internals and improve heat transfer. That would be a very good result, IMO.
1 small bottle was $16, gonna have to do for now.I usually run about 16oz's of it in my toys Ed.It does help in my opinion.
