Could I get a suggestion on brands for a few parts?

Hey everyone. Going to replace a bunch of crap on my truck on the next 3 day weekend i get. I need some suggedtions on brands. 97 Ram 2500 5.9 V8.

Im getting a bunch of parts from Hughes, including:
Intake Plenum repair
Thermostat
Coolant bypass hose

Suggestions on an o2 sensor? Any idea on which one to buy, too? (Probably caked with soot with all the oil i burn. MPG suffering badly)

Whats the fourms suggested brands for:
Valve stem seals
Valve cover gaskets
Water pump
Timing chain/sprockets/tensioners
Oil pan gasket
High volume/high pressure oil pump + screen

Go check out merc's album. He's got p/ns for all of those parts from Mopar and I would recommend mopar btw.

Fel-Pro, Mr.Gasket, and Victor-reinz are all quality gaskets i would check out hughesengines.com or summitracing.com they have the gaskets you need. you can also find quality valve stem seals there as well comp cam and sealed power make good valve stem seals.

Don't trust hughes gaskets. They're crap. Also I don't trust hughes. Recently found out their ported tb that supposedly flows 1007 cfm is really a 49mm.

Gaskets, I like Felpro. Thermostat, Stant hands down.

Agree with above, gaskets go with Felpro. For O2 sensors I went with NTK, timing chain/gears Comp Cams, water pump OEM

Felrpo, NTK for O2 sensors, I bought my plenum plate off ebay

I went with Cloyes for my double roller timing chain.
