could this be a problem?

Well this isn't new but every time I drive my truck I get the feeling like there is something causing friction in the drive train. I can't really put my finger on it but in general the truck just doesn't feel like the truck rolls freely. I feel it mostly in the front and mostly when turning right. I'm wondering if the hubs could be bad or if something in the front steering could cause a drag feeling. I wish I could describe it better. Fyi...I've had the front end off the ground and I don't have play in the tires. Almost like the brakes are still slightly engaged, but I know they aren't.

Which bearings would that be? And could the hubs be bad or going bad without having play when trying to wiggle the tire?

Your hub bearing assembly....I used bearings as a general term in my initial post. I guess they could be, your's just may have not gotten to that point yet. I miss the old days where we didnt have hub bearing assemblys, where you could actually service your bearings every so often. Definately make sure your brakes arent dragging though before anything else. Our hub bearing assembly's are mucho $$

If your brakes rub, they would get really hot, had it on an older car of mine and you could feel the heat radiate out of the rim when you placed your hand in front of it. If you brakes are not superhot after normal driving I'd look elsewhere for the source of your problem.

Another thing you can do is lift up the front of your truck, spin each wheel by hand and see if there is a difference in resistance?

Like mentioned above def check each wheel for resistance because the hub bearing assemblies are nowhere near cheap. The ball joints on my passenger right were shot when I bought the truck and I replaced them when I did the level and I separated the hub in the process. One hundred and some odd dollar mistake on my part. Needless to say I was not very happy about it. Might be time for some new pads or something simple! Good luck!

I just put new side and pads on last summer, so I doubt they would be gone already. Ill raise and check resistance.

If your bearings are going out wont you be able to hear like a grinding sort of noise when you spin it?
