When going up hills, my cruise drops five mph. It then catches up halfway up the hill. Is there any adjustments that can be made to solve this?

Get on the loud pedal until you crest the hill. For additional fun don't let up.

Nope that’s just the way it is. It’s going to drop some speed going uphill
