Notice a lot of posts about MaxTrac, but very few CST? Interested in 5.5 inch CST lift for 2wd. Is MaxTrac a better lift? Thanks!

The lift looks really good on your truck! MaxTrac seems to be the way to go. The shop available to install is a CST installer and knows their systems. They will install the MaxTrac, but can't promise a quality install. Also, I'm interested in the 5.5 inch lift, but could go to 6 or 7 if still fits in my 6 ft 11 in garage opening.

If you do the 7" maxtrac you'll need a 7' opening. Anything less and the sharkfin would hit

I think the 5.5 CST or the 4.5 MaxTrac will do it. I could always reposition the fin. There are kits to do that. My 15 2500 Cummins 4x4 had the fin in the front and did not get in the way.

I've heard great things on both. The maxtrac guys are very helpful, may want to call them.

Max Trac is the way to go if you are trying to lift your 2wd... I bought the 7 inch kit (pay extra for the upgraded shocks... its worth every penny) for my truck and loved the way it looked and especially how it rode.

I recently took it off since I am trading her in, but here are some pictures of how the truck sits.
