It will be 4 years come Feb for the VB6 recall. That recall was on the 2019. So, 1 year later they recalled it.They will be eventually.
2019 already had it taken care of a couple years ago with the VB6 recall (that model year is what triggered the whole investigation).
They don’t have a solution yet for 2020-2023.
2024’s are not mentioned at all in the violations.
Again, no. They are not meeting the standards. They are paying $Billions in carbon credits. Obviously Stellantis would not be paying $billions if they were meeting carbon emissionsThen why aren't the 2019-2024's recalled for emissions.
They obviously meet the standard. My '20 HO has no problem.

No, we're talking specifically about the manufacturers are unable to meet these absurd emissions standards.Your talking about gas engine emissions not meeting the standards and why FCA is paying out billions for carbon credits, that has nothing to do with what's going on with the current Cummins 67a Emission BS that came out resently...
The manufacturers simply can't meet these absurd CAFE standards anymore. It is intentional. The climate cultists are by force taking away our ICEs.
Yes, they are able to meet the standards. That’s exactly why there was the VB6 recall for 2019, and the 67A recall for 2013-2018- so those vehicles can meet the standards. No, we're talking specifically about the manufacturers are unable to meet these absurd emissions standards.

There is quite a few of y'all that seem to think all these diesel and V8 hemis are meeting the CAFE standards. THEY ARE NOT. Stellantis MUST buy carbon credits because of their vehicles' emissions. All the manufacturers are having to do this. It is costing them $billions.Where did it say they "weren't meeting the standards. "? I believe the issue is the Feds & Cali didn't like that Cummins met the standards by plugging in a strategy in the PCM instead of having all sensors (NoX) being incorporated in the system to determine the functions of the emmisions system. At the tailpipe on a dyno it performed to or above the standards. "They" have a problem with IF it works to the standard during real world use.
This has been my interpretation of this BS.

Let’s attack this from a different direction. Why was Cummins (NOT the vehicle manufacturer) sued by the DOJ, have to pay a fine, and as a result have to recall all the trucks in question to reflash the engine calibration? There is quite a few of y'all that seem to think all these diesel and V8 hemis are meeting the CAFE standards. I don't care about gassers and CaFE standards, or HOW Stellantis got there to have the 2013-2018 Cummins powered pickups approved for Federal Emmissions. There is quite a few of y'all that seem to think all these diesel and V8 hemis are meeting the CAFE standards. My point is, it was fine until suddenly it wasn't!

At this point might as well start doing oil changes in the ditch just to spite these people![]()
Stellantis is still being investigated/negotiated but Cummins is clearly the culpable party.Let’s attack this from a different direction. You didn’t answer the question…Stellantis is still being investigated/negotiated but Cummins is clearly the culpable party.
Cummins supplies to RAM the power-pack: Engine, PCM, Emmissions System. It is expected to work in harmony. Apparently it has been found that Cummins without Ram's knowledge duped the system and the FEDS figured it out. They went right after the source, Cummins. Pretty much sums it up.You didn’t answer the question…
It was a question specifically for him, to lead him to debunk his own claims.Cummins supplies to RAM the power-pack: Engine, PCM, Emmissions System. It is expected to work in harmony. Please tell us what you think they found and what the recall is doing.I have a pretty good idea of how everything went down, what it most likely was that they found, and what the recall is doing.
My claim is that manufacturers are unable to meet the CAFE standards. It was a question specifically for him, to lead him to debunk his own claims.
I know exactly how all that works, and I have a pretty good idea of how everything went down, what it most likely was that they found, and what the recall is doing.
Do you believe that the manufacturers are achieving these standards??The manufacturers simply can't meet these absurd CAFE standards anymore. It is intentional. The climate cultists are by force taking away our ICEs.
