The other day i changed the oil in the truck. 6.7
I started it and shut it off immediately then tried to start it again no crank and it didn't crank.
The radio goes off and door locks and windows then the radio comes back on door locks and windows start
working.
Battery's are good lights do not go dim when key is turned. This happened before same senecio.
started truck immediately shut it off then tried to restart and same thing happened.
Went to fuse box and I hear one of the relays click and radio comes back on.
I'm going to follow the click but it has to be in the key circuit.
Turn lights on and they are strong even when i turn the key no dimming.
Iv searched here and cant find the same issue.
The battery charger goes to float then i hit the start button and no change.
Has anyone had this issue before i searched the forum but cant find the same issue.
Could it be the security system? Could it be the key switch. Somehow this happened twice and i have got it to start . I crawled under tuck and had my wife come out and shift it thru the gears and it started. I moved the wire on starter and loosened the grounds on frame and tightened back. I'm going to disconnect the batteries and reconnect. This is the first ever truck i have ever financed or bought this new.
I have never had so many issues with any of my trucks. But this truck makes my wife mad.
Anti lock/def system i keep defending the ram 2018 2500 Cummins 6.7 what's wrong. Thank you for your thoughts, Christopher

That was last year of TIPM for cummins, sounds TIPMish. Either that or batteries first thought.

can also rule out win module..

If you plan to diagnose it yourself, follow the KISS rule. Start with the batteries. Don't replace one... replace them both at the same time.

Just because the lights are bright doesn't mean the battery is good. I just replaced both of mine because I was starting to get some random weird electrical oddities. Sometimes the truck wouldn't remote start. Sometimes it took 5-6 presses of the lock button on the door handle to lock or unlock the doors. Sometimes the HVAC would change blower motor speeds (not on Auto). That solved every one of them. Just went through this with my wife's Armada as well. Her lane assist would throw error messages and her forward sensors would cause a malfunction light on the dash. Everything seemed ok, but one morning I noticed that it was a little draggy on cranking. Swapped the battery and all went away. Neither vehicle has had a single electrical issue since that.

If not the battery, I'd look at the win module next. If not either of those, then it could be a TIPM issue.
